Founded in 2020 by 2 friends in the fireplace industry with the vision to design and build functional decorative appliances. Having a vast amount of knowledge and experience between the 2 of us we set off on our first project a gas fireplace. While we where designing this small space gas heater the worlds energy dynamic changed with disruptions in fuel and electrical supply. So we looked to our neighbours on LASQUETI Island that rely on wood energy to heat there homes without the consistent availability of other fuels. During the design process we still wanted to stay within the small appliance market and with that it meant small spaces. The answer to that was ACI in our stoves, allowing the firebox to reach higher temperatures and have the ability to stay relatively cool on the rear bottom and sides of the stove. Heat is introduced into the room from the top of the stove and the large glass viewing area. After a few changes from our original design we came up with the LASQUETI Forge and this was the beginning of the LASQUETI stove line.
